An environmental analyst is someone who studies various aspects of the environment and the different factors which have an effect on it. He may work for government agencies or private organisations and help to study samples from the environment which can be used for determining a particular solution. For example, they can work for a company which produces or uses certain chemicals and an environmental analyst will study how those chemicals influence the environment, can they cause any harm or long-term problems. They may also study the rocks, soil and natural phenomenon and the government may create its policies depending on the results of those analytical reports.
