IT services manager’s job revolves around ensuring that all the information services in the company such as computer systems and network connections are installed and run as per the requirements of the company. He is also responsible for overseeing the installation of information and communication technology systems and upgrades them as per requirements of the company.

• Meeting clients or managers of different departments and evaluation the IT or more specifically, ICT requirements
• Studying the available systems and evaluating the necessity of upgrades or the need to buy new systems
• Ensuring security of the information stored in the systems and creating backups for the data
• Ensuring the all network connections like servers, business email servers and system protection such as anti-virus and firewalls have been installed and are functioning properly
• Creating multilevel security to restrict unauthorized entry into company systems
• Supervising the working of all IT professionals and analysts
• Providing solutions to hardware, software and network problems
• Playing a major role in recommending new systems and overseeing their installment when systems of the company are being refurnished or redesigned
• Evaluate and monitor ICT budget
